My Wedding Ideas

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 27 October 2026

This policy explains how personal information is processed in connection with my-wedding-ideas.com. It covers browsing, contact messages, comments, and the planned introduction of a Kit newsletter, Google-served advertising, and Google’s AdSense consent message. The provisions for those planned features apply when the relevant feature becomes available.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

The website’s operator and data controller is Uniqistic sp. z o.o., Cyfrowa 6, 71-441 Szczecin, Poland. For privacy questions and requests, write to contact@my-wedding-ideas.com.

2. Information we process

  • When you contact us: your email address, the name and other details you choose to provide, the message, and correspondence needed to answer it. The contact form includes an optional phone-number field.
  • When you comment: the submitted name, email address, optional website address, comment text, and associated technical information such as IP address and browser information used for moderation and spam prevention.
  • When you browse: technical request information processed by the hosting service, such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time. Measurement tools can also receive information about page views and interactions, subject to their configuration and applicable consent requirements.
  • When the newsletter is available and you subscribe: your email address, any name or preferences you provide, and information needed to manage the subscription and record your consent. Delivery information and, where enabled with the appropriate notice or consent, email-open or link-click information may also be processed.
  • When Google advertising is enabled: cookie or device identifiers, IP address, browser information, approximate location, page views, ad impressions, clicks, and consent choices may be processed by Google and the advertising partners disclosed in the consent message, subject to the applicable settings and legal requirements.

Approved comments and the accompanying display name can be public. Email addresses submitted through the comment form are not intended for public display. Avoid putting private information about yourself or other people in a public comment.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use correspondence to answer requests and manage editorial or business communications. Depending on the request, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Operating the website, maintaining security, moderating comments, and preventing spam are based on our legitimate interests in providing a functioning editorial site and protecting it from misuse. Legal obligations can require us to keep or disclose particular records. Where consent is required for optional storage, tracking, or another activity, consent is the applicable basis for that activity.

Providing information is generally voluntary. We need a reply address to answer a message, and required form fields are identified on the form. You can read articles without submitting a contact form or a comment.

Newsletter subscriptions and marketing emails are based on your consent. A subscription is optional and is separate from consent for advertising cookies. Advertising personalization, optional storage, and campaign measurement rely on consent where required; any other applicable basis for a disclosed advertising purpose should be identified in the consent message.

4. Cookies, Google advertising, and consent choices

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. WordPress can use cookies for login sessions, security, and remembering comment details when you choose that option. Cookies used for an optional purpose should be distinguished from those needed for a feature you request.

The site currently loads Google measurement tags through Site Kit by Google. Requests to Google can include the visited page and technical information about your browser or device. The site’s current Google configuration sets analytics and advertising storage to a default denied state in the EEA and certain other configured European regions. A denied storage state does not necessarily prevent all measurement requests or technical signals from being sent to Google.

Google AdSense Privacy & messaging has been selected as the consent solution for the planned advertising setup. Once enabled, its message will identify the relevant purposes and advertising partners and provide choices to consent, refuse, or manage options where applicable. Visitors must be able to revisit their choices through the consent-settings control provided with that implementation. The message’s availability and options can depend on the applicable region and configuration.

Once Google-served ads are active, third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site or other websites. Advertising can be personalized where the required consent has been obtained, or served in another mode supported by the applicable settings. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for purposes such as measurement, frequency control, or fraud prevention, where permitted.

If Google Ads tags are enabled to measure campaigns promoting this website, they may record ad clicks and subsequent actions, such as a completed signup, subject to the consent choices and applicable requirements. Remarketing or personalized campaign measurement is not enabled merely by accepting these policy terms.

You can also review Google’s personalized-ad controls in My Ad Center and block or delete cookies in your browser. Browser controls can affect site features and do not erase information already received by a provider. Google’s information about partner websites and advertising information explain its processing and controls. Other advertising partners will be identified through the applicable consent message and their linked privacy information.

Cookie behaviour can depend on location, browser, login state, and interactions with the site. Publishing this policy does not activate AdSense, a consent message, a newsletter signup, or optional tracking, and is not a request for you to consent to them.

Newsletter through Kit

The planned newsletter will be delivered using Kit. When signup is available, it will describe the messages offered, which may include wedding inspiration, new articles, resources, and relevant promotional offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter email or by contacting us. Withdrawing newsletter consent does not change your cookie choices, and refusing advertising cookies does not unsubscribe you from email.

Kit will handle subscriber information and email delivery on our behalf. Its Data Processing Addendum describes the handling of newsletter subscribers’ personal information, while its Privacy Policy describes its own website and customer-facing services. If engagement measurement is used, it may involve a small email image or tracked links; the subscription information and applicable consent choices will explain that feature.

5. Service providers and other recipients

Information needed to operate the site may be handled by our hosting, email, maintenance, and technical service providers. Google receives information through its measurement services and, once enabled, AdSense, the consent message, and any configured Google Ads tags. The planned newsletter provider is Kit. Advertising partners involved in the selected configuration will be disclosed through the Google consent message, with information about their purposes and privacy practices.

Comment submissions may be checked by Akismet, an Automattic service, for spam; this can include comment details, the submitted contact information, IP address, and browser information.

For the provider’s account of that processing, see Automattic’s notice for visitors to sites using its services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Following a link to another website or using a third-party social-sharing service subjects your interaction with that service to its own privacy information.

6. Processing outside the EEA

Some providers, including Google, Automattic, and the planned newsletter provider Kit, operate internationally, so their services can involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Applicable safeguards can include an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, depending on the provider and transfer. Google’s data-transfer information, Kit’s Data Processing Addendum, and the providers’ privacy information explain their arrangements. Contact us for information relevant to a particular request or provider used by this site.

7. How long information is kept

Correspondence is retained for the time needed to deal with the request and any related follow-up, legal obligation, or claim. A published comment and its moderation information can remain while the comment is relevant to the article or its moderation history. A deletion request will be assessed against the purpose for retention and applicable legal requirements.

Newsletter information is retained while needed to provide the subscription. After you unsubscribe, limited records may be retained to respect your opt-out, document consent and withdrawal, or meet a legal obligation or handle a claim. Advertising identifiers, consent records, and measurement information follow the applicable configuration and provider retention arrangements.

Technical logs, backups, spam-screening records, and measurement data follow the applicable service configuration and provider retention arrangements. Retention can differ between a live record and a backup. We do not specify a single period for all these categories because the purpose and service differ; you can ask about a particular record or service using the contact details above.

8. Your data-protection rights

Where the applicable conditions are met, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send requests to contact@my-wedding-ideas.com. Please identify the interaction or record concerned. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Under the GDPR, we normally respond within one month; where a permitted extension is necessary, we explain the reason and timing.

You may complain to the supervisory authority in your place of habitual residence or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred. In Poland, the relevant authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. See UODO’s information about rights and complaints.

9. Changes and questions

We will revise this policy when the website’s processing arrangements or relevant requirements change. The effective date appears above. Questions about a specific feature, cookie, or provider can be sent through our contact page or by email.
